Assalamalikum:

Alhamdulillah (ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ), with the Grace and Mercy of Allah SWT, the Windsor Islamic Foundation is proud to launch a new housing project for our seniors. A ground-breaking ceremony has already been held in October 2022. The project consists of five buildings with six apartments in each, for a total of 30 apartments. The average size of the apartments is 1200 sq.ft.

Insha’Allah the construction will commence in the spring of 2023 with completion targeted for the middle of 2024.

In the summer of 2023 criteria will be established to determine who will be eligible to apply for renting an apartment. A committee will be struck to register all applications and with due diligence determine who the successful applicants are.

This project will cost close to $10 million and cannot be completed without your support. This will be an endowment (Waqf) for our Masjid and will Insha’Allah serve our community and fund many projects and programs for decades to come. It therefore presents a great opportunity for a living charity (صدقة جارية) which can be done on behalf of yourself or a loved one.
